How to Apply
Check if Gunnison County offers an online application on their website. If available, fill it out first. This saves time. Visit the clerk office with your partner. Both of you must be there.

Getting Married

Self-solemnization is unique to Colorado. Sign as both officiant and couple. No third party needed. Fill in date, time, place. Return within 63 days.
For civil ceremonies, contact a local judge. Religious ceremonies need clergy from a recognized denomination.

Recording Your Marriage
